In the reduction printmaking technique, a single linoleum block is used to create a multi-colored image by printing in stages. After each color is printed, more of the block is carved away, reducing the surface area that holds ink. This process is repeated for each new color layer, and once completed, the block is carved down so much that it can no longer be used to print again.
This means that the prints made during the process are part of a truly limited edition. I can’t go back and create more prints because the block is permanently altered with each stage of carving. As a result, the edition size is decided in advance, and no additional prints can be made once the block is fully carved.
Each piece in a reduction print edition is unique, with variations in ink application and hand-mixing that contribute to the individuality of every print. Once the edition is complete, no more prints of that artwork can ever be produced, making these prints particularly valuable for collectors.

When will Mailbox Studio ship each month?
The Mailbox Studio is open all month for subscriptions. Subscribe by the 10th to receive that month's Mailbox Studio. Subscriptions made after the 10th will begin with the next month's edition. Orders are fulfilled and will ship out by the 18th of each month.
If you missed the 10th cut off - no problem! You can still sign up, and you will receive the following month's Mailbox Studio.

Can I cancel? How?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds/returns on this product, but you can always cancel your subscription for future months.
Will I be charged automatically each month?
Yes! You will be charged on the day you sign up. For future months, payments will reoccur on the same day that you made your initial order.
